Welcome and thank you for visiting Wood Creations by Sam. I have been creating one of a kind pieces for family, friends and customers here in the Orlando area for many years. Many of these people have been urging me to make these pieces available to more people for quite some time. With this site I wish to do just that. I sincerely hope you will find your visit satisfying. Let me start off by saying, my wife and I are very particular as to where our wood comes from. We only use wood which has been recycled, rescued from downed trees (due to natural causes or construction projects, etc.) , from trees which are farmed or from specialty manufacturers which would normally go to waste. We have not and will not use suppliers that procure their wood from any other source. Our primary selections are Florida hardwoods consisting of, but not limited to, various Oaks, Camphor, Cherry, Citrus, Gums, Sycamore, Poplar, Soft Maple, Mahogany, Magnolia, Citrus and Heart Pine. We also have available most of the northern hardwoods, including Walnut, Cherry, Pecan, Hickory and most of the exotics. All pieces are individually handcrafted to your wishes by one craftsman (that would be me.) Our design department (also me, but under the watchful eye of my wife) will work with you on our design or yours to create a piece(s) which will be unique to you and you alone. Based upon our work load, there could be a wait time. Periodically, I will make a piece for whatever reason and place it in our gallery.
